After my last botched project, I figured I would try building a chopper using one of the RM Choppers. I didn't want to build an "out of the box" chopper though, so I I went through some of my biker mags and found one that I thought would make a good build. The attached pic is a quick sketch of what I'm planning. I'm in the process right now of building the tube frame. I'm hoping to have a mock-up pic by tonight or tomorrow.

Attached below are some pics of my current chopper project. I basically heated the styrene tubing over a candle flame and bent it to the appropriate shape. One of the tube rails is sitting marginally higher than the other, so I may have to take it apart and do some re-shaping, but I don't think it will be noticeable once I build the gas tank. I'm starting work on the front fork today, so I will post a pic of that ASAP.

Between work during the day and classes at night, I don't get much time to work on my bike, but here is the progress I've made so far. I had to re-do the forks to get angle I wanted. I'm also working out the details on the gas tank and the seat.

This is one of my yamaha roadies. Its basically a stock frame, lowered, highly modified stock rear fender believe it or not, sporty tank, custom bars. the paint is a discontinued house of color orange, and the seat : its a plastic seat pan that i made and covered in leather from michaels craft store.

Thanks. I'm currently working on three others: virago chop, a sporty and a wwII flat head. I also have another roadie that i want to back half the frame and an shovel head model. So we'll see I'll post pics soon!!
