Hello fellow modelers. I'm coming back to the first hobby I ever had and loved and it's only taken me fortry-three years to do it. Don't hate, some never return! And some that do, do only while in rehab. But enough about you, lets talk about our mutual interest: I can remember my very first model, a small red plastic alpha romeo which I built badly but a thirst was born. That thirst was finally quenched by my last build a scant three years later, a Monogram model of a 1934 Duesenberg Model SJ Torpedo Phaeton. It was complicated, somewhat, and I couldn't afford the paints and whatever details would have been available at the time, but it was a beauty. Anyone who has ever built it or anything similar understands what it is to build a beautiful classic like it. To touch, analyze, dry fit and ultimately assemble it was one of the most enjoyable things I ever did as a boy but then reality intruded and I had to put my modeling away for a while. Untile now, that is. So fellow modelers, I ask for forgiveness now in case I step on anyone's foot and I also ask for patience if I ask something on the forum that seems stupid. Thank you all.
